Container-scale pineapple, shipped to your specification. Our Import Wholesale programme is for buyers ordering beyond our Singapore ready-stock range: full containers, custom cuts, drum-format juice, and private label production sourced directly from our Costa Rican facility.

This is indent supply, not stock supply. You tell us the cut, the carton size and the volume; we process, pack and ship to your requirement. Because these orders are produced and shipped to order, lead time is approximately four (4) months by sea freight from the date of confirmation.

What you trade in waiting, you gain in scale pricing, specification control and supply security for the whole year ahead.

Frozen Pineapple

  • Chunks 1/8 - Large Cube Cut. Our biggest cube, IQF at peak ripeness. Built for applications where the fruit needs presence: visible pieces, premium plating, and processing lines where a larger cube survives handling. Available in retail 1kg or bulk 10kg cartons, by the pallet or container.

  • Bulk Container Programme - Buyer's Choice of Cut. Chunks, tidbits, dices or spears, packed in 10kg, 13.6kg or 18kg cartons. One origin, one standard, one container at a time; up to 20 pallets per load.

Pineapple Juice

  • JPC - Juice Concentrate, 60-65 BRIX. Industrial-grade concentrate in 268kg drums, 99 drums per container. Concentrated at source for efficient shipping and consistent reconstitution, batch after batch.

  • NFC - Not From Concentrate. Pressed from 100% MD2 pineapple and never reduced. The fresh-pressed flavour, aroma and body that concentrate can't replicate - for brands whose product is the juice itself.

About BIRÜ and products

  • BIRÜ brings premium Costa Rican pineapple to Singapore. We specialise in frozen and dried pineapple made from 100% MD2 pineapple, widely regarded as the sweetest, most consistent pineapple variety in the world. Every product is 100% natural, with no added sugar, no additives and no preservatives.

  • All our pineapple is grown and processed in Costa Rica, one of the world's leading pineapple-producing regions. Fruit is harvested at peak ripeness and processed at source to lock in flavour and nutrition.

  • We offer two main ranges:

    (1) Frozen pineapple: chunks, tidbits and other cuts, individually quick-frozen (IQF) so pieces stay separate and easy to portion.

    (2) Dried pineapple: naturally sweet dried tidbits in convenient snack packs, with no sugar added. We also offer taster bundles and party packs; perfect for first-time customers, gifting, gatherings and corporate events.

  • IQF stands for Individually Quick Frozen. Each piece of pineapple is frozen separately at peak ripeness, so you get free-flowing pieces (not a solid block) that retain their texture, flavour and nutrients. You can pour out exactly what you need and return the rest to the freezer.

  • BIRÜ works with suppliers and production partners who hold internationally recognised certifications, including GLOBALG.A.P., BRCGS, Tesco standards, ETI, Esencial Costa Rica and Halal. These certifications are held by the producing and processing entities that supply our fruit, not by BIRÜ directly.

  • Yes. All BIRÜ pineapple is processed in Halal-certified facilities. Our production partners hold current Halal certification covering the processing and packing of our fruit, independently audited and renewed annually.

    BIRÜ pineapple is also naturally gluten-free and contains no added sugar.

  • None. Both our frozen and dried pineapple contain one ingredient only: pineapple. The sweetness is entirely natural, thanks to the MD2 variety.

  • Yes. BIRÜ pineapple is 100% fruit; vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and free from added sugar. If you have a specific allergy or dietary concern, feel free to contact us before ordering.

  • Yes. BIRÜ supplies frozen and dried pineapple to food service businesses, cafés, restaurants, hotels, caterers, retailers and food manufacturers. Our wholesale range includes bulk frozen cuts (chunks, tidbits, dices, spears) and dried pineapple in both retail-ready packs and bulk formats.

  • MOQs vary by product and format. When you request pricing, our catalogue and team will confirm the MOQ applicable to the products you're interested in.

  • Yes. Selected products are available under private label, in addition to the BIRÜ brand. If you're interested in packing our Costa Rican pineapple under your own brand, mention this when you submit your pricing request and we'll share options and requirements.

  • Our products and supply chain carry internationally recognised certifications, including Halal, Global GAP and BRC, with additional certifications available on selected lines. Full specification sheets - including BRIX, pH and other technical details; are available on request.

  • Yes. Our pineapple supply from Costa Rica is available all year round, giving you consistent quality and supply security regardless of season.

  • Yes. For larger buyers, we can supply by the pallet or full container. Carton, pallet and container configurations are detailed in our wholesale catalogue — request it via the "Request for Pricing" button.

  • We're happy to discuss samples as part of your enquiry. Submit a pricing request and let our team know you'd like to evaluate samples for your business.

  • Wholesale delivery arrangements, including cold-chain logistics, lead times and scheduling; are confirmed with your account contact once your order is placed, as they depend on volume and location.

Retail orders and shipping

  • Simply browse our online store at birusg.com, add your items to cart and check out. You'll receive an order confirmation by email once your payment is processed.

  • Retail orders are shipped every Tuesday and Thursday. Orders placed after our cut-off time will be shipped on the next scheduled delivery day. For example: an order placed over the weekend ships Tuesday; an order placed Tuesday afternoon ships Thursday.

  • Yes. Frozen items are delivered via cold-chain delivery and are kept frozen throughout transit. We recommend that someone is available to receive the order and transfer frozen items to the freezer promptly.

  • Because our frozen products are temperature-sensitive, please ensure someone is available to receive your delivery on your scheduled day. If you need to change your delivery details after ordering, contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate before your order is dispatched.

  • Yes, we deliver across Singapore.

  • Deliveries follow our Tuesday and Thursday shipping schedule. At checkout, your order will be assigned to the next available delivery day. If you have a specific request, leave a note at checkout or contact us and we'll do our best to help.

  • You may amend or cancel your order any time before it is dispatched. Once an order has been shipped, we're unable to make changes. Contact us as early as possible with your order number.

  • We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure online checkout. All payments are processed securely, we do not store your card details.

  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, we're unable to accept returns. However, if your order arrives damaged, defrosted or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos and your order number, and we'll make it right with a replacement or refund.

Storage, shelf life and usage

  • Keep frozen pineapple at -18°C or below in your freezer. Stored properly, frozen pineapple keeps its quality for up to 2 years from the production date (see best-before date on pack).

  • We don't recommend refreezing once fully thawed, as this affects texture and quality. Because our pineapple is IQF, you can simply pour out the portion you need and return the rest to the freezer immediately.

  • Keep dried pineapple in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, reseal the pack or transfer to an airtight container and consume within the recommended period on the packaging.

  • It depends on how you're using it. Smoothies: no thawing needed — blend straight from frozen. Snacking: enjoy semi-frozen, or thaw 15–20 minutes at room temperature. Cooking, baking or grilling: thaw briefly and pat dry for best results.

  • Frozen pineapple is perfect for smoothies, smoothie bowls, juices, baking, stir-fries, grilling and desserts. Dried pineapple tidbits make a great natural snack for the office, lunchboxes, hiking and travel or a wholesome topping for yogurt, oats and granola.
